Job Summary
Conduct estate planning and administration for families and individuals, including drafting revocable/irrevocable trusts, wills, powers of attorneys, and premarital agreements. Analyze complex state law and federal tax issues related to income, estate, gift, and GST laws. Advise corporate clients on succession matters and charitable institutions on planned giving. Maintain strict confidentiality on all client matters. Requires Ohio law license and 3+ years of experience in estate planning. Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in estate planning
- Ohio law license
- Income, estate, gift, GST, and other tax laws attendant to this line of work
- Estate/wealth planning techniques, including preparation of related documents (revocable/irrevocable trusts, wills, powers of attorneys, etc.)
- Drafting premarital agreements
- Research and analysis of complex state law and federal tax law issues
- Superior communication skills, both written and verbal
