Job Summary
Conduct estate planning for families and individuals, including drafting wills, powers of attorney, and premarital agreements. Manage succession issues for corporate clients and planned giving for charitable institutions. Research and analyze complex state law and federal tax laws regarding income, estate, gift, and GST tax issues. Prepare related documents for lifetime, estate, and charitable planning matters. Maintain high confidentiality in all client interactions. Requires Ohio law license and 3+ years of experience.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in estate planning
- Ohio law license
- Income, estate, gift, GST, and other tax laws attendant to this line of work
- Estate/wealth planning techniques, including preparation of related documents (revocable/irrevocable trusts, wills, powers of attorneys, etc.)
- Drafting premarital agreements
- Research and analysis of complex state law and federal tax law issues
- Superior communication skills, both written and verbal
