Job Summary
Review and prepare federal and state fiduciary income tax returns (Form 1041), estate tax returns (Form 706), and related filings while leading multiple tax engagements to deliver quality preparation, research, planning, and consulting services. Ensure compliance with legal and tax requirements for trust and estate entities, communicate technical issues and recommendations to clients, and provide guidance and training to junior staff. Stay current with changes in fiduciary, tax, and estate law through ongoing professional development and proactively address process improvements. This hybrid role (3 in office/2 wfh) offers a base salary of $100,000 - $150,000 for a candidate with 5+ years of specialized experience in trust and estate tax.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of specialized experience in trust and estate tax
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- Self-motivated
- High ethical standards and integrity
- Client-focused mindset and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Work well in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- MST preferred
- CPA strongly preferred
