Job Summary
Review trust agreements, amendments, restatements, last will and testaments, codicils, and other estate planning documents for legal accuracy, trustee powers, fiduciary responsibilities, risk exposure, tax-sensitivity guidelines, and distribution responsibilities. Work with Baird Financial Advisors, Market Directors, and PWM associates to answer questions and provide thought leadership for the client base. Make presentations on estate, tax, and trust planning topics for internal associates and professional continuing education seminars. Assist Trust Counsel and Baird Trust associates with trust and estate matters and participate on Trust Company projects, including the introduction of new initiatives, systems, products, services, and processes.
Required Qualifications
- Juris Doctorate (JD)
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration
Desired Qualifications
- CFP
- CTFA
- 5+ year experience in the trust industry preferred
