Job Summary
Trust Portfolio Manager coordinates cash management, liquidity planning, and trust-account servicing in collaboration with an external RIA, acting as the primary trust department resource for portfolio implementation questions, cash flow management, and client education on fiduciary topics. Responsibilities include coordinating cash needs for distributions, tax and fees, initiating external RIA requests and settlement timing, reviewing and coordinating trades, evaluating in-kind transfers and asset swaps, identifying tax-loss harvesting opportunities, tracking maturities and cash flows, handling corporate actions and proxy voting, resolving trade errors, serving as the liaison with brokers/custodians, and explaining portfolio structure and risk/return tradeoffs to clients. Requires a Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in trust/wealth management operations with strong client service and regulatory knowledge; CFP preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, business, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 5+ years of experience in trust administration, wealth management operations, portfolio administration, trading support, or related financial services
- CFP is preferred
