Job Summary

Administer Trust Department Accounts by meeting with owners and beneficiaries to review client accounts, reviewing transactions, directing disbursements, allocating income, and preparing monthly account reviews. Set and monitor investment allocations, provide communication and validation of investment goals with clients, and oversee preparation of annual distribution reports for Trust IRA clients. Call on current and prospect clients to grow Department AUM and nurture relationships with CPAs and attorneys. Confers with vendors, reviews fiduciary and individual tax returns, and works with SEI staff for Trust System Software support and training. Oversee Trust Administration Committee and Board Committee meeting preparation, participate in internal and external training, and serve on bank committees as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • Three years trust administration experience
  • Four-year college degree in accounting, finance, business or equivalent
  • Courteous and professional customer service attitude
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to maintain the integrity of highly confidential client and Bank information
  • Strong computer skills
  • Technical ability to input and retrieve computerized information
  • Strong mathematical skills
  • Legible handwriting
  • Ability to deal effectively with time pressures and stress
  • Effective problem solving and technical research skills
  • Self-starter and independent thinker
  • Ability to meet goals as outlined by Vice President Trust Manager
  • Near, mid-range, and far vision
  • Ability to bend, turn, lift and carry up to 20 pounds
  • Ability to climb stairs
  • Ability to work during regular business hours
  • Ability to work average at least 40-45 hours a week
  • Ability to handle variation in work hours due to special projects, deadlines, community events, and other concerns
  • Ability to alternate sitting, standing, and walking throughout work shift
  • Ability to receive and provide detailed information through verbal communication
  • Ability to work in an office environment
  • Ability to have frequent in-town/local travel
  • Ability to handle occasional out-of-town and overnight business travel
  • Ability to perform regular mental and visual concentration for computer usage
  • Ability to regularly use a telephone
  • Ability to regularly use a keyboard for approximately 6 hours per day
  • Ability to work with a Windows environment
  • Ability to use a variety of office equipment including computer printer, ten-key calculator, fax, copy machine, and multi-line telephone
  • Ability to understand Bank policies and procedures and applicable state and federal regulations
  • Ability to stay current in field
  • Ability to participate in training and appropriate professional development
