Job Summary
The Trust Officer serves as a relationship manager for MidFirst Bank clients, providing support and advice in trust and estate administration. Responsibilities include building multi-generational relationships, maintaining compliance with laws and regulations, reviewing legal documents, and mentoring employees. Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree, 5+ years of relevant experience, and deep community connections. The role requires knowledge of trust services, attention to detail, and advanced communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Finance or Business Administration
- 5+ years of working experience in trust and estate administration and planning
- 5+ years of experience as a Trust Officer or Trust Relationship Manager
- Intermediate/Advanced knowledge of trust and estate services and applicable laws
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows operating environment
- Working knowledge of trust accounting and related systems
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to be effective under pressure
- Advanced ability to prioritize and multi-task
- Ability to professionally interact with all levels of employees and clients
- Ability to respect and hold confidential information
- Effectively work independently as required
- Establish priorities and follow through to completion
- Dependable, cooperative, flexible
Desired Qualifications
- CTFA or other trust certification desirable
- Deep connections to the Scottsdale community
- Proven business development skills
