Job Summary
Engage in fiduciary oversight activities, proactively identify issues, and coordinate trust administrative matters by partnering with internal groups including the Office of Chief Fiduciary, Wealth Strategies Group, Portfolio Oversight Group, Tax Services, and Operations. Partner with the Market Trust Director, Trust Officers, and Senior Trust Officers to deliver high-level service to Merrill advisors and clients while executing fiduciary responsibilities in accordance with Bank of America policies. Develop an understanding of clients' circumstances, family dynamics, estate plans, and fiduciary objectives to support effective account administration. Liaise with clients' attorneys, accountants, and other professional advisors to support estate planning and trust administration activities, facilitating information gathering and coordinating implementation of fiduciary decisions. Participate in client and advisor meetings to review existing relationships and evaluate prospective fiduciary appointments. This entry-level role supports larger and more complex client relationships led by senior officers.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in trust administration, servicing and managing fiduciary relationships with high net worth clients
- Familiarity with fiduciary law, trust and estate administration, fiduciary taxation, investment concepts, and banking operations
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team in a collaborative environment
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities and administrative responsibilities
- Strong communication and relationship management skills
- BS/BA, CTFA designation, Paralegal certification, JD, or other fiduciary-related credential
- High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalent
