Job Summary
Manage a portfolio of complex Trust and Fiduciary structures while overseeing assigned team members and handling necessary travel. Proactively ensure all transactions are technically correct, minimize operational losses and complaints, and adhere strictly to applicable laws, including Anti-Money Laundering and Know Your Client regulations. Provide technical advice on structures to clients and team members, drive efficiencies through process remediation, and manage weekly Work in Progress to ensure accurate time management and fee collection. Collaborate to meet sales plan targets and develop new business through personalized service, ensuring full awareness of Butterfield Group products and policies.
Required Qualifications
- minimum of 5 years relevant experience
- experience of working in the Financial Services industry
- STEP diploma
- ACIB diploma
- ACIS
- professional etiquette
- experience of working in a client facing role
- target orientated with a record of setting, meeting and exceeding set objectives
- strong project management skills
- track record of working within a team
- willingness to undertake pro-active duties from time to time
- strong user awareness of IT skills
- ability to learn new systems easily
- full awareness of all applicable laws, regulations and Bank policies and procedures
- ability to ensure that all relevant Anti-Money Laundering and Know Your Client Regulations and procedures are effectively applied to all client on an ongoing basis
- understand and have a thorough knowledge and understanding of new and existing products and services available across the Butterfield Group
