Job Summary
Manage a varied caseload of trust matters to generate fees, preparing deeds of appointment, retirement documents, trustee minutes, and related filings. Deliver a professional client experience by advising beneficiaries, trustees, and financial advisors on their duties under Scots trust law while handling trust accounting, tax returns, and HMRC liaisons for reporting. Update property titles via TR1 applications and Notice of Titles, referring complex instructions to third parties. Leverage technology and AI to create competitive advantage while staying at the forefront of innovation in the UK Trusts space. Work UK hours and observe Bank holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Laws (LLB)
- Admitted Attorney of the High Court of South Africa
- Three (3) years' trust management experience
- Case management systems experience
- Work UK hours and take UK Bank holidays
- Client-centric
- Excellent communicator
- Attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task in a complex, fast-paced legal environment
