Trust/Entity Review Specialist

Job Summary
Review and validate entity and trust documentation for mortgage loans (LLCs, partnerships, corporations, and trusts) to ensure they are valid, active, properly documented, and compliant with internal underwriting standards and agency/investor guidelines. Verify authorized signers and trustees, identify missing or non-compliant documents, communicate issues to internal teams, analyze entity structures for policy alignment, collaborate with underwriters/processors/closers to complete documentation prior to loan decision or funding, maintain accurate logs, stay updated on guideline changes, and support training and inquiries related to trust/entity documentation.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in mortgage operations or underwriting preferred (2+ years)
- Proficiency in reviewing business and trust documents
- Familiarity with Non-QM underwriting requirements
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and documentation skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with mortgage LOS platforms (e.g., Encompass) and MS Office
- Experience validating signer authority for corporate/partnership/trust entities
