Job Summary
Mid-level Trust and Probate Litigation Associate to support the Los Angeles Office’s Litigation Practice Group. Candidates should have 2-5 years of recent litigation experience, familiarity or willingness to learn trust and probate matters, CA bar admitted, and strong writing and drafting abilities. Responsibilities include legal research and analysis for pleadings and memoranda, drafting pleadings and case documents, attending hearings, managing matters from start to finish, and professional client/supervisor communication. Competitive salary with bonuses, unlimited PTO, 401k, and full benefits; salary range $160k-$210k with potential bonus up to $106k. Firm emphasizes inclusivity and a collaborative environment.
Required Qualifications
- Juris Doctorate with excellent academic credentials
- Licensed to practice law in California and in good standing
- Familiarity with federal and state court procedural rules and practices
- Familiarity with and ability to prepare basic litigation documents
- Case management experience
- Strong drafting and negotiating skills
- Strong communication skills (oral and written)
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Ability to work effectively with others as part of a team
