Job Summary
Administer personal trusts, estate, investment agency, and IRA accounts in accordance with governing documents and state laws while delivering excellent client service. Develop referral partnerships with CPAs, attorneys, and financial advisors to identify prospective client opportunities. Prepare documentation for the Discretionary Committee regarding discretionary distributions and review daily transactions to ensure accuracy. Maintain accurate trust records, files, and documentation while ensuring compliance with internal fiduciary policies and regulatory requirements. Meet with clients to discuss trust and estate planning matters as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, law, or a related field
- 7+ years of experience in trust administration, estate planning, or a related fiduciary services role
- Proven ability to build relationships that generate new business
- Strong knowledge of trust taxation, fiduciary law, and trust administration practices
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple accounts efficiently
- Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team-based environment
- Superior client relationship management skills to provide outstanding service and build long-term relationships
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with clients, advisors, and internal teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and concisely to clients and colleagues
- Willingness to travel occasionally for client and advisor meetings
