Job Summary
As a Trust Administrator with RBC Royal Trust within RBC Wealth Management, you will support Relationship Managers in the Institutional Trust Services team by administering an assigned book of business with timely, accurate, and compliant account administration. You will communicate in writing, verbally, and electronically with Relationship Managers and external contacts, stay informed on general investment procedures/philosophies, utilize all software and internal technology, ensure account information in systems is up to date, and provide back-up support/training as needed. You will contribute to operational consistency, continuous improvement, and high-quality client service, and work collaboratively as part of a team to meet deadlines and deliver trusted advice to clients.
Required Qualifications
- Must have Post-secondary education or equivalent
- Computer literate
- Effective written, verbal, and electronic communication skills
- Able to work with minimal supervision and with others and perceived as a team player
- Exhibits sound judgment and decision-making abilities, can work under pressure to meet deadlines, good organizational skills and attention to detail
- Nice to have 1-3 years’ experience in a similar role and/or 1-3 years’ experience in the Banking or Investment Industry
- Successful completion of CSC (Canadian Securities Course)
- Trust & Estates Professional designation
- Successful completion of Royal Trust, Trust Administrator Certificate (or to complete within 3 years)
