Job Summary
Review, interpret, and convert information from the Sales team into design software to create truss layouts and engineered drawings for residential, commercial, and agricultural builds. Input precise and complete data and generate accurate shop orders. Coordinate with Sales and customers to obtain approved designs, ensuring timely processing and release of work orders. Collaborate with others to address and resolve design-related concerns. Build and maintain strong working relationships across departments through effective communication. Participate in scheduled design meetings to stay aligned with departmental updates and contribute to process improvements.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience with Alpine software and truss design
- Experience in roof, floor, and wall design for commercial and residential projects
- Lumber experience
- An understanding of Minnesota engineering and design regulations
