Job Summary
Perform repetitive assembly operations to mass-produce truss products by placing parts in specified relationships and fastening them with bolts, clips, screws, or cement. Cut materials to specific measurements, remove defective items, and tend machines for force fitting and fastening on the assembly line. Rotate through different workstations as production needs require and adapt to varying product models. Clean equipment, floors, and work areas according to safety procedures. This entry-level role requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 100 pounds, and working in a loud environment with exposure to extreme weather and moving mechanical parts. Candidates must complete pre-employment drug testing, including marijuana, as this is a safety-sensitive position.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to regularly and frequently stand for a long period of time
- Must be able to use hands to finger, handle, or feel
- Must be able to reach with hands and arms
- Must be able to talk or hear
- Must be able to walk regularly and frequently
- Must be able to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl occasionally
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds regularly and frequently
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds frequently
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds occasionally
- Must have close vision
- Must have distance vision
- Must have peripheral vision
- Must have depth perception
- Must have the ability to adjust focus
- Must be able to wear ear plugs for noise protection
- Must be able to wear eye protection
- Must be able to wear other personal protective equipment required by the location
- Must complete pre-employment drug testing process which includes marijuana
