Job Summary
Create nesting programs for cutting machines and operate the Trumpf Trulaser 3060, including offline programming and optimization of sheet metal consumption. Manage production scheduling, storage programs, and lot sizes while preparing working papers and labels for downstream processes. Address machine malfunctions, troubleshoot material issues, and administer routine maintenance checks to maintain optimal precision and tolerances. Analyze tooling and setups to recommend improvements that shorten run times and enhance quality delivery. Read manufacturing drawings to classify parts and remain alert to detect improper machining or address production problems affecting quality and delivery.
Required Qualifications
- Knows how to work with different hand tools in a safe matter
- Read and understands blueprints
- Following directions/instructions step-by-step
- Has a working knowledge of speeds, feeds, and tooling
- Able to an overhead crane, and other lifting devices
- Good communication skills and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects at one time
- Ability to work under pressure
- Understanding of production processes with strong regard for production quality
