Job Summary
Create nesting programs for cutting machines and operate the Trumpf Trulaser 3060, including offline programming and optimization of sheet metal consumption. Manage production scheduling, storage programs, and lot sizes while generating working papers and labels for downstream processes. Troubleshoot material issues, address machine malfunctions, and administer routine maintenance checks to ensure optimal precision and tolerances. Read manufacturing drawings, classify parts by type and thickness, and analyze tooling setups to recommend improvements that shorten run times. Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to quality standards, inspecting parts visually for conformance, and promptly reporting production problems affecting delivery or customer requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Knows how to work with different hand tools in a safe matter
- Read and understands blueprints
- Following directions/instructions step-by-step
- Has a working knowledge of speeds, feeds, and tooling
- Able to an overhead crane, and other lifting devices
- Good communication skills and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects at one time
- Ability to work under pressure
- Understanding of production processes with strong regard for production quality
