Job Summary
Set up, calibrate, and operate Trumpf 5-axis laser cutting machines while programming, editing, and optimizing laser programs using TruTops software. Read blueprints and engineering drawings to produce high-precision parts, then monitor production and make adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency. Inspect finished parts with precision measuring tools, troubleshoot machine issues to minimize downtime, and perform routine maintenance. Record production data in the ERP system and collaborate with engineering and quality teams. Work Monday through Friday (2:00 PM–12:00 AM) with Saturday availability, earning $22.00–$28.00/hour.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience programming and operating Trumpf 5-axis laser systems
- Experience using Trumpf TruTops software
- Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication and 3D laser cutting processes
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and CAD drawings
- Experience using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
- Basic computer skills
- Willingness to learn ERP software
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good attention to detail

- Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed
- Ability to perform repetitive bending, reaching, and lifting
- Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment
- Must be available for overtime
- Must be available for Saturday work
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Epicor ERP or similar manufacturing software
- Experience troubleshooting and optimizing laser cutting programs
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing practices
