Job Summary
Provide trumpet lessons to students, focusing on technique, repertoire, music theory, and performance skills. Develop customized lesson plans tailored to each student's individual goals, abilities, and learning styles. Evaluate students' progress and provide constructive feedback to help them improve. Prepare students for performances, auditions, and competitions as needed. Communicate effectively with students and their parents/guardians regarding lesson schedules, progress, and expectations. Stay updated with new teaching methodologies, music trends, and trumpet repertoire. Work within a dynamic growth-focused tech startup environment with serial tech entrepreneurs from Silicon Valley.
Required Qualifications
- Proficiency in trumpet playing
- Strong understanding of music theory
- Previous teaching experience
