Truckload Pricing Analyst

Job Summary
Pricing Analyst for Truckload pricing supports the sales team by processing requests for quotes and analyzing market trends to guide pricing decisions. Key duties include consulting with account managers on TL pricing inquiries, preparing data and analysis for bids, setting expectations on the bid process, researching carrier rules, collaborating with Sales and TL Operations to resolve cost and rate issues, using forecasting and strategic planning to ensure pricing accuracy, providing pricing guidance on spot opportunities, and training others to expand pricing skills. Strong emphasis on data analysis, Excel proficiency, attention to detail, communication, and independent work in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- In lieu of degree, combination of education and years of experience will be considered and preferred
- 2+ years of industry experience preferred
- Experience with Excel (intermediate-advanced) and data analysis
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and co-workers
