Job Summary
Orchestrate truck delivery and prioritize processing merchandise onto the sales floor while executing receiving and merchandising standards. Train and mentor Associates on merchandising and processing principles, ensuring they complete tasks according to the store plan. Monitor team productivity, coach as necessary, and rotate back stock for easy replenishment. Maintain organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the backroom area, including proper tagging, hanging, securing, and coding of all merchandise. Ensure compliance with recycling and hazardous waste programs, uphold merchandising philosophy and signage standards, and support shrink reduction goals. Work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends, capable of lifting heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year retail and 6 months of leadership experience
- Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends
- Superior communication and organizational skills with attention to detail
- Capable of multi-tasking
- Able to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations
- Team player, working effectively with peers and supervisors
- Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation
- Able to train others
