Job Summary
Receive driver and owner/operator reports and conduct initial inspections using test drives and instruments like pressure gauges and motor analyzers. Perform preventative maintenance, air and hydraulic brake repairs, steering and suspension work, and electrical diagnostics on medium and heavy duty trucks. Clean, repair, recondition, and maintain equipment components to get vehicles back up and running efficiently while adhering to Charger safety procedures. This role supports Charger Logistics' expanding Service Department in Dallas, focusing on cost-effective repairs and DOT compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- Knowledge of truck parts and equipment and truck repairs
- Effective problem solver with the ability to understand issues and find solutions in a timely manner
- High attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced work environment
Desired Qualifications
- Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
