Job Summary
As a Truck Technician Trainee, you will be responsible for performing service repair and maintenance activities in the service shop and field for customer and rental fleet equipment under close supervision. Key responsibilities include analyzing and diagnosing equipment malfunctions, performing pre-delivery setups, repairing and rebuilding engines and systems, and conducting test drives post-repair. You are expected to document service activities accurately and follow service guidelines to ensure quality work. Candidates are required to hold an Associates Degree in Diesel Technology or a related field, along with at least one year of relevant experience or equivalent education and work experience.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Degree in Diesel Technology or closely related field
- Minimum of one year of related experience
- Ability to perform under supervision
- Strong communication skills
