Job Summary
Conduct inspections and diagnostic tests to determine vehicle condition and identify worn or damaged parts. Complete preventive maintenance schedules, install upgrades, and perform winterization procedures to keep equipment available. Correct deficiencies by removing, repairing, adjusting, overhauling, and replacing major assemblies in power, drive, electrical, brake, and steering systems. Perform machine shop operations, make adjustments, and verify performance through test drives. Comply with federal and state requirements by testing engine, safety, and combustion control standards. Maintain records, inventory supplies, place orders, and troubleshoot shop equipment breakdowns.
Required Qualifications
- Must have own tools
- Good mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities
- Valid Driver's License
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
