Required Qualifications
- High school degree, diploma or a GED equivalent qualification from an accredited institution
- Bachelor’s degree or an associate’s degree or diploma in mechanical or automotive engineering
- 2 – 3 years of experience as a fleet mechanic
- Valid and clean commercial Class A Driver's License
- Knowledge of engines, transmissions and controls
- Knowledge of brakes and suspensions
- Skilled in diagnosis and repair of electrical systems on trucks and equipment
- Skilled in DOT inspections
