Job Summary
Diagnoses, repairs, and adjusts key systems and components of trucks and related equipment. The technician performs complex and standard repairs with minimal supervision. Responsibilities include troubleshooting engine malfunctions, conducting quality control inspections, and maintaining company equipment. Requires a thorough understanding of electrical and engine systems, excellent troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Position requires a valid driver’s license, specific certifications, and ownership of necessary tools.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent, accreditation from a technical school or an applicable skilled trades program required
- Minimum of three years of experience required
- CDL – Class A or B required
- Has met HDSI requirements for preceding Technician levels; Ability to model and teach Holt’s VBL Culture
- On-going Safety Training required
Desired Qualifications
- ASE – Medium/Heavy Truck Certification four or more preferred
- AC Certification Required
- Brake System Certification Required
