Job Summary
Certified Journeyman Truck Repair at DTNA responsible for maintaining and repairing gas and electric-powered industrial vehicles and related equipment. Tasks include maintaining mechanical systems on AGVs, gensets, fire pump diesel engines, battery systems, dc cables, and various industrial vehicles; setting up and maintaining parts inventory; interpreting manuals and work orders; and collaborating with production teams, engineering, service technicians, and management. Required qualifications include a GED or high school diploma and a Certified Journeyperson credential (or equivalent 8 years of experience); proficiency with MS Office and Prism; ability to cross-train; and willingness to work any shift. Pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check are required. Relocation assistance is not available. Location: Detroit Manufacturing Plant, Detroit, MI, USA.
Required Qualifications
- GED or High School Diploma
- Certified Journeyperson card holder or ability to document 8 years of experience
- Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders
- Strong Computer/Software skills including MS Office, Prism
