Job Summary
The Truck Refrigeration Technician's primary focus is to perform repairs and maintenance on Thermo King and Carrier truck refrigeration units according to specified standards. This role requires a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with these refrigeration units, strong troubleshooting skills, and working knowledge of electrical systems. Responsibilities include diagnosing trouble codes, performing mechanical and electrical repairs, and accurately documenting work on repair orders. A valid driver’s license is necessary, with a CDL preferred.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 3+ years of hands-on Thermo King or Carrier truck refrigeration units
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Working knowledge of electrical troubleshooting
- Accurately document work performed on repair orders
- Must have a valid driver’s license: CDL Preferred
- Must be able to lift 50lbs/push-pull 75lbs
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment and random drug screening required by DOT
- Strong ability to work scheduled hours consistently
Desired Qualifications
- 608 or 609 certification
- Tech School
