Job Summary
Receive finished, clean product from other departments and place items into route carts or bins based on written packing requirements. Work at a rapid rate to maintain product flow, then transfer carts to delivery vehicles or designated storage areas. Identify product shortages and notify supervision immediately. Handle goods to maintain quality and proper packaging while meeting efficiency and safety standards. Follow all instructions from supervision and keep the work area neat. Perform other production tasks as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Recognize colors and sizes, count and sort accurately.
- Recognize, inspect and grade product.
- Comprehend and follow written packing instructions.
- Comprehend and follow direction.
- Physical Demands consist of standing, walking, reaching overhead, pushing, pulling, grasping, lifting up to 75 lbs. and stooping.
- Physical Requirements consist of being able to meet the physical demands for the entire shift.
