Job Summary
Lay out loads, scale them properly, strap and secure cargo, then tarp or close up trucks. Operate a tractor trailer or specialized vehicle to transport goods to and from specified destinations. Prepare, receive, and provide documentation for deliveries and pickups to ensure timely service. Maintain logs of travel and cargo to comply with federal and state regulations. Assist with duties within the warehouse as needed. Requires a Class A CDL with endorsement and three plus years' experience working around flatbed tractor trailers. Works the 2nd shift from 3:00pm to 11:00pm M-F.
Required Qualifications
- Class A CDL Driver's License Endorsement
- Three plus years' experience working around flatbed tractor trailers or other specialized trucks/vehicles
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to work on 2nd shift, 3:00pm - 11:00pm M-F
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with on-board computer systems
- Prior steel industry and product knowledge
