Job Summary
Install specialty truck equipment including service utility bodies, stake bodies, dump bodies, hitches, and commercial accessories while following all safety rules and PPE requirements. Mount hitches, shelves, drawers, ladder racks, mud flaps, plows, and other truck bodies using power hand tools. Troubleshoot independently and build schematics with 2+ years of welding and electrical wiring experience. Train with other mechanics as needed and complete other duties assigned by the Supervisor or Manager.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of welding skills (metal and aluminum)
- 2+ years of electrical wiring
- Ability to build schematics
- Independent ability to troubleshoot
- Ability to operate power hand tools (and have basic tools)
Desired Qualifications
- Basic weld experience (helpful)
- Complex Hydraulics knowledge and experience (a plus)
