Truck Installation Technician responsibilities include installing specialty truck equipment such as service utility bodies, stake bodies, dump bodies, and hitches, mounting shelves and ladder racks, and handling basic welds and hydraulics. Requires welding (metal and aluminum) with 2+ years of experience, electrical wiring experience, ability to read/build schematics, hydraulics knowledge (a plus), and proficient troubleshooting with power hand tools. Team-based installation tasks, adherence to PPE and safety rules, and ongoing training with mechanics are expected. Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of welding skills (metal and aluminum)
- 2+ years of electrical wiring
- Ability to build schematics
- Complex Hydraulics knowledge and experience (a plus)
- Independent ability to troubleshoot
- Ability to operate power hand tools (and have basic tools)
