Job Summary
Complete the installation of specialty truck equipment including service utility bodies, stake bodies, dump bodies, hitches, and commercial accessories. Mount hitches, shelves, drawers, ladder racks, and mud flaps while strictly following safety rules and PPE requirements. Operate power hand tools and apply basic welding skills to build schematics and perform electrical wiring. Troubleshoot complex hydraulics and train with other mechanics as needed. Perform other duties assigned by the Supervisor or Manager.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of welding skills (metal and aluminum)
- 2+ years of electrical wiring
- Ability to build schematics
- Independent ability to troubleshoot
- Ability to operate power hand tools (and have basic tools)
Desired Qualifications
- Basic weld experience (helpful)
- Complex Hydraulics knowledge and experience (a plus)
