Truck Hostler

Job Summary
Drives Class 4-8 straight truck chassis and assists with general assembly duties. Works with production management to determine tank and chassis needs, coordinates with shop staff to gain space to mount tanks, and safely mounts tanks on chassis for transport. Moves trucks between locations, maintains cleanliness of equipment and yard, and assists warehouse with picking parts for trucks and assembling parts on trucks. Requires ability to operate forklift/vehicles, adherence to safety practices, and strong time-management and organizational skills.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
- A valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) including air brake and tanker endorsements
- Clean driving record
- Must be able to safely operate a forklift and/or other assigned vehicles and equipment
- Must have good time management, planning, organization and prioritization skills
- Must have at least two years of work experience
