Job Summary
Assist in picking up donations aboard a Salvation Army truck and lift/haul donations (50-100+ lbs) into the truck; load/unload to maximize space and protect items; inspect donations to ensure acceptance per policy; prepare donation receipts; maintain vehicle functionality and safety; support warehouse/store operations, sorting, pricing, and display preparation; maintain orderliness and cleanliness of warehouse and store areas; build good donor relations and represent The Salvation Army positively; physical duties include frequent lifting, carrying, and moving items in various weather conditions; requires a valid state driver's license and ability to work a 29-hour weekly schedule in a part-time role.
Required Qualifications
- Six (6) months of experience lifting and hauling heavy items, or any equivalent combination of training and experience
- Valid State Driver's License
- No formal education required
