Job Summary
Truck Gate Security Officer responsible for protecting posted premises and ensuring safety and security. Responsibilities include monitoring trucks/contractors in and out, conducting foot patrols, monitoring cameras, following post orders, and performing electronic report writing. Must provide impeccable customer service, identify and report safety issues or hazardous conditions, and demonstrate de-escalation and conflict-resolution skills. Requires excellent attention to detail and vigilance, the ability to respond to emergencies with rapid judgment, and participation in required pre-employment screening. Education requirements include High School Diploma or GED (or ability to obtain GED within 6 months); security, law enforcement, or military experience preferred. This is a full-time, on-site role with benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to complete GED within 6 months
- 18 years of age or older
- Above average computer/tech skills
- Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience preferred
- Impeccable customer service and team leadership skills
- Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations
- Attention to detail and vigilance
- Ability to respond to emergencies with rapid/effective judgment and escalation
- Willing to participate in pre-employment screening (drug screen and background investigation)
