Job Summary
The Truck Field Service Technician 3 provides exceptional customer service while inspecting, repairing, and maintaining trucks, trailers, and attachments for On-Highway vehicles. Key responsibilities include troubleshooting and repairing both Cat and OEM trucks, ordering necessary parts, and completing service documentation. The technician must possess knowledge of various truck systems, tools, and diagnostic software while demonstrating problem-solving and customer service excellence. A high school diploma or equivalent is required along with five years of experience, and a CDL is necessary. The role requires travel up to 40% and adherence to safety regulations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent, accreditation from a technical school or skilled trades program required
- Five or more years experience required
- CDL – Class A or B required or must be able to obtain
- On-going Safety Training required
Desired Qualifications
- ASE Certifications preferred
- Experience leading/mentoring preferred
Additional Requirements
- Must own and maintain the necessary tools to efficiently perform the job
- Must have a clean driving record
