Truck Drivers - 2nd shift & 3rd shift - Experienced Class A

Job Summary
Operate heavy-capacity commercial trucks, including tractor-trailers, to transport steel products between locations while performing daily vehicle inspections and monthly safety checklists. Maneuver trucks into loading positions following crew signals, secure cargo using ropes and binders, and inspect both vehicles and materials for defects before and after trips. Report vehicle defects, accidents, and traffic violations immediately, maintaining all required documentation and adhering to a pre-determined pickup and delivery schedule. Requires a Class A CDL license, two years of driving experience, and ability to comply with D.O.T and FMCSR regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to operate a clutch pedal
- Ability to operate a tractor trailer for up to 10 consecutive hours
- Knowledge of and ability to comply with all D.O.T and FMCSR requirements as well as applicable state laws
- Class A CDL License
- two years of driving experience
- steel hauling preferred
- Ability to climb on and off the semi-trailer as needed
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
