Job Summary
Transport over-weight and over-dimensional equipment loads to/from customers and/or between dealerships within Canada and the USA. Support the Sales Department with equipment deliveries, maintain accurate records and up-to-date certifications, and meet operating standards and inspections for commercial vehicle transport. Keep assigned trucks and related equipment in good condition, monitor mechanical fitness, provide basic operating directions to customers, and ensure safety regulations are followed for self and others. Build positive co-worker relations while working extended shifts away from home for 2 to 3 days as required.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience hauling equipment, and truck/trailer repair/maintenance
- Knowledgeable of overweight/over dimensional hauls and use of RGN trailers
- Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office and internet functions
- Clean drivers abstract in the last 3 years
- Grade 12 or equivalent
- Valid 1A Drivers License, and ability to drive within Canada and USA
- Must be able to work extended shifts away from home location 2 to 3 days as required
- Candidates must be legally entitled to work in Canada
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of Electronic Logbook Device, and operation of ag equipment would be considered an asset
