Job Summary
Transport cargo to and from specified destinations while preparing, receiving, and providing appropriate documentation for deliveries and pickups. Load, secure, verify, and unload cargo, then maintain contact with the dispatcher for delivery or pickup instructions. Verify inventory loads against shipping papers, maintain regulatory records, and perform emergency repairs like changing tires or installing light bulbs. Present bills, receipts, and collect payments for goods. Requires a valid truck driver license, two years of driving experience, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Required Qualifications
- Must have a "satisfactory" driving record
- Requires applicable truck driver license for state
- Must have a valid Truck Driver license
- 2 years required of truck driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to be on your feet for extended periods
- Vision - near, far, night
- Ability to detect or tell differences between sounds varying in pitch and loudness
- Ability to quickly respond (with hand, finger, foot) to signals (sound, light, picture) when it appears
