Job Summary
Truck Driver responsible for operating a commercial motor vehicle to transport live poultry or poultry feed between growers and the processing facility, adhering to DOT safety rules and company policies. Responsibilities include completing pre-trip inspections, loading/unloading as needed, securing loads, maintaining accurate documentation, and reporting maintenance issues. Must comply with DOT regulations, wear PPE, work in outdoor environments, and be available for nights, weekends, holidays, and long shifts. Required Qualifications
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Valid Class A CDL with 1 year verifiable satisfactory driving record
- Knowledge of Department of Transportation, State and Federal Laws
- Ability to read and write legibly
- Ability to work unsupervised and self-motivate
- Sound work ethic, honesty and moral character
- High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- Previous live poultry tractor trailer driving experience (preferred)
- Basic math functions and skills (preferred)
