Job Summary
CDL Truck Driver needed for local routes at Voyant Beauty. Role requires transporting goods, including hazardous materials, in compliance with DOT and company policies. Responsibilities include safe operation of a commercial vehicle on a local route, moving and spot-tagging trailers, coordinating with other carriers, performing pre/post-shift inspections, loading/unloading as needed, and ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining schedules. Requires reading/writing basic math, attention to safety protocols, ability to comply with regulations, and a valid Class A/X/T CDL license. Local Gainesville, GA area; in-person work; hourly pay. Safety and DOT compliance emphasis throughout daily duties.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED (Required)
- Ability to read, write, and perform basic math (Required)
- Valid Class A/X/T CDL license (Required)
- Minimum of 1 year CDL driving experience (Required)
- DOT regulations and HazMat handling knowledge
- Ability to move, load/unload, and perform physical activities
- Safety equipment use (PPE, placards, spill kits)
- Pre-shift and post-shift vehicle inspections
- Experience with trailers and loading docks
