Job Summary
Pull fuel products from suppliers and terminals to customers while making timely decisions regarding road conditions and external factors. Maintain equipment by conducting pre/post inspections on trucks, hoses, and other gear, then load, unload, and operate pumps and valves using various tools. Complete driver logs, pre- and post-trip forms, invoices, and other paperwork as required while following Department of Transportation safety standards and environmental requirements. Maintain communication with dispatchers and immediate managers, providing exceptional customer service in all interactions. Full-time position with Class A HazMat endorsement, D.O.T. medical certificate, and TWIC card.
Required Qualifications
- Class A with HazMat endorsement
- D.O.T medical certificate
- ability to obtain a TWIC card
- Two (2) years of CDL experience
- Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and smell
- Occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, pull up to 40 pounds, overhead lifting up to 40 pounds, maintain balance at heights of up to 20 feet, and withstand road shocks and moderate vibrations associated with driving a commercial vehicle
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
- valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Must pass drug screen and background check
