Job Summary
Load and unload cargo, record amounts and types of deliveries, and take orders for new routes while driving long distances. Fill up on fuel, clean the truck, and wash windows. Report incidents to a dispatcher, monitor road conditions, and follow all traffic laws. Inspect the trailer before and after trips, document defects, and report mechanical issues. Keep the truck and equipment clean and in good working order. Follow accident procedures and maintain activity logs. You must possess a current Class A CDL, have three years of commercial driving experience, and pass a background check and drug test. All candidates perform an on-site skills verification test before hire.
Required Qualifications

- minimum of 3 years of experience
- pass a background check

- perform a skills verification test on site before hire
- current state issued Class A CDL Driver's License
- 3 years of commercial driving experience
- Ability to interpret, read manuals, and write reports in English
- Ability to provide proper hand signals to crane and truck operators
- Ability to verbally communicate Safety issues to Customers and other workers on location before and during job task
- Ability to work at heights and use all PPE required for fall protection correctly
- Ability to employ physiological movements and actions associated with heavy work
- Bending, stooping, lifting, seeing hearing, walking, ability to lift 75 lbs., twisting, crawling, climbing, squatting, kneeling, sitting and standing
- Eyesight sufficient for operating a motor vehicle, inspection of equipment, and completion paperwork
- Hearing sufficient for telephone contact and interpersonal communication with Customers and coworkers
