Job Summary
Conduct daily driving routes for pickup and drop-off of donations at the warehouse, assigned boxes, and donor homes. Perform daily vehicle walk-around inspections, maintain clean cab and box, and plan routes based on assigned pick-ups. Load and unload truck, secure materials, and provide assistance to Thrift Store personnel. Supervise Truck Helper and maintain accurate records including delivery manifests and trip logs. Treat all customers courteously while adhering to company dress code and communication procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to communicate effectively
- Valid driver's license for assigned vehicles and acceptable DMV record
- Must pass driving test
- Must be able to lift 100 lbs
- Must be able to read maps and plan and prioritize daily route coverage
- Must be able to use Ipad with GPS, texting and truck inspection report
- Must have excellent communication and customer service skills
- Medical card required depending on city and/or state requirements
- Passing a DOT Physical is a requirement of the job
