Job Summary
Deliver fuel locally to homes and businesses in a safe and efficient manner while maintaining the delivery truck by reviewing maintenance records, performing inspections, and reporting vehicle conditions. Account for funds and inventory using a user-friendly handheld terminal and provide superior customer service. Maintain a Class B CDL with HAZMAT, tanker, and air brake endorsements and pass English Language Proficiency requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- HAZMAT endorsement
- tanker endorsement
- air brake endorsement
- valid Medical Examiner's Certificate allowing for operation in interstate commerce
- Ability to lift and pull equipment that weighs 50 to 75 lbs
- Exceptional customer service skills
- English Language Proficiency qualification requirements in 49 CFR §391.11(b)(2)
- ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public
- understand highway traffic signs and signals in English
- respond to official inquiries
- make entries on reports and records
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
