Job Summary
Deliver fuel locally to customers' homes and businesses in a safe and efficient manner while maintaining the delivery truck through inspections and reporting vehicle conditions. Account for funds and inventory using a handheld terminal and provide superior customer service. Operate company vehicles with a Class B CDL including HAZMAT, tanker, and air brake endorsements. Join a team of passionate individuals committed to safety and customer satisfaction as part of a nationwide distributor of propane and renewable energy products serving approximately 1 million customers across 42 states.
Required Qualifications
- Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with HAZMAT, tanker, and air brake endorsements
- valid Medical Examiner's Certificate allowing for operation in interstate commerce
- Ability to lift and pull equipment that weighs 50 to 75 lbs
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Ability to satisfy the English Language Proficiency qualification requirements in 49 CFR §391.11(b)(2)
- Ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public
- Ability to understand highway traffic signs and signals in English
- Ability to respond to official inquiries in English
- Ability to make entries on reports and records in English
