Job Summary
Receive donations, process merchandise through the intake area, and make furniture pickups in the Treasures truck. Ensure all sellable goods meet quality standards by sorting, cleaning, and moving items to the sales floor. Maintain the truck in good working order, perform monthly safety inspections, and keep the processing area organized. Operate the point of sale system, assist with merchandising, and respond courteously to customers and donors. Handle critical incidents per company policy and participate in team meetings. This role supports the Avow Foundation's hospice program in Collier County. Saturday availability is required for shifts between 7:30am and 6pm Monday through Saturday.
Required Qualifications
- Saturday availability
- High School Diploma or GED
- Current, valid driver's license
- Valid auto insurance
- Communication skills of reading, writing and speaking in English
- Math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages/fractions
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
- Ability to see, hear, and talk
- Exposure to outside weather conditions
- Nicotine Free status
- Completion of a screening through the Clearinghouse
Desired Qualifications
- Previous thrift store experience
- Familiarity with the greater Naples area
- Previous experience driving a box truck
