Job Summary
Facilitate pickup and delivery of goods and passengers to businesses, piers, and up to 120 miles for LTL freight movement. Operate Class A and/or Class C commercial vehicles while maintaining accurate Hours of Service records using Electronic Logging Devices. Conduct thorough pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections daily and immediately report any defects, accidents, or safety violations. Safely load and unload cargo or assist passengers as required, adhering to all DOT and FMCSA regulations. Collect, verify, and follow delivery instructions to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Work overtime as needed to maintain consistent on-time performance aligned with service standards.
Required Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license with appropriate endorsements
- Current DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Hazmat Certified
- Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions, etc.)
- Experience in the use of Liftgates
- 12 months of verifiable driving experience in the past-3-5 years
- Hands-on experience with electronic equipment and software for ELD and TMS
- Ability to drive long hours, within Hours Of Service Regulations
- Extensive knowledge of DOT/FMCSA Regulations
- Acceptable driving record: no more than 3 violations and 1 preventable accident in 3 years
- Ability to adapt to changing conditions

- Hazmat Certified preferred but not required
